Join us in celebrating Sri Krishna Janmashtami at the Shiva Vishnu Temple on Saturday, September 5, from 6:00 PM until midnight. The evening begins with Krishna Abhishekam and Sahasranama Archana, followed by devotional bhajans and a special Bhagavad Gita discourse by our resident priest. Children from the temple’s Bala Vihar program will present a cultural showcase featuring dance-dramas depicting episodes from Lord Krishna’s childhood, including the ever-popular Dahi Handi. The celebration culminates at midnight with the ceremonial birth of Lord Krishna, Maha Aarti, and cradle darshan, followed by prasadam for all devotees. Devotees are encouraged to bring flowers, fruits, and butter offerings.
